Ogbourne St Andrew History Group was created in 2003 to investigate and record the history of the parish, which includes Ogbourne Maizey and Rockley. We have concentrated in trying to capture the memories of the remaining few villagers with stories to tell reaching back before the Second World War, delved into the fascinating history of the church, engaged in a comprehensive geophysical survey of the land surrounding the church and bronze age mound (discovering in the process a previously unknown ditch encompassing the mound), brought to life characters forgotten by history.
